to offer metal injection molded ( MIM ), single barb stainless steel hose fittings.
Metal injected stainless steel hose fittings are made from 316L stainless steel
without the use of welds,. The metal injection process allows production of stainless
steel Y and Tee fittings with smooth interior surfaces and no weld lines. Additional
leading-edge technological introductions from Eldon James have included: hose
fittings with an antimicrobial component that protects against microbial colonization
and biofilm buildup by the release silver ions. The AgION Technologies' silver
ion, antimicrobial technology is also incorporated into Flexelene ™ Silver
tubing, one of the company's proprietary brands of flexible polyethylene tubing.

Flexelene™, a new line of flexible polyethylene tubing is one of the latest products to emerge from the company's R&D department. Flexelene ™ Polyethylene tubing is unique because it is available in sizes compatible with both single barb hose fittings and compression style hose fittings like those offered by John Guest and G. A. Murdock Inc. The specially formulated Polyethylene tubing is UV stable and has excellent ozone resistance. The tubing is suitable for use with de-ionized water, contains no toxic plasticizers and is NSF 51 & NSF 61 certified for used in food, beverage, and potable water applications.

Natural Nylon hose fittings, Natural Kynar ® PVDF hose fittings, and Natural High Density Polyethylene hose fittings are produced with compounds that are NSF 51 certified and NSF 61 certified. Many of the Eldon James' hose fittings and tubing connector designs manufactured from the above materials are certified to NSF 51 and/or NSF 61 and are available with lot and job traceability certificates.
